Time to draw the curtain

It's time to draw the curtain on the play, so sad it's over :(
Showtime.......

Here is me getting my make-up done, I was the Queen.

(From left) Declan, the King, Zak, Sam the peasant boy, and Nathan, one of the palace guards, chilling in the Green Room, waiting for the play to start :)

Here we all are getting a pre-show pep-talk from our drama teacher, Debi.

The show started with a violin solo by Gabi, aka Princess Honor.

The fairy god mothers, Rachel and Liz

Princess Beauty

'Good scribe'

Josh as Prince Andrew, meeting the peasants of Callentine.

Jasmine (Janie) and Zak (Sam)

'Come, we're late for the party'

The Ball

Some of the girls did a dance, it was very nicely done!

Princess Beauty (Carley) doing "important things" instead of dancing :)

Prince Andrew meeting Princess Beauty for the first time

The fairy Godmothers making Princess Beauty invisible so she can learn her lesson. It didn't work, so they made her into a peasant instead.

'This is dreadful, are you sure she is nowhere to be found?'

Nick (Nathan) winning the strong man contest and five pieces of gold!

Jill (Kirsten) suggesting he spends his winnings on a party, but Nick insists he is going to use it to feed his family.

Nick found Princess Beauty ( now all dirty and messed up) and brought her home to be cleaned up.

'She yelled at me!'

Of course everything turns out fine, we found Beauty with help from Janie

'My daughter, a peasant?'
'Never!'

'Then why don't we get rid of the peasants?'
'What?!'

'What I meant to say was, why don't we make all the peasant nobles, lords, and ladies. They can all have some of our riches, and no one will have to suffer in our kingdom again.'

'Please your highness, we hav everything we need.'
'How about no more taxes?'

'It's a deal!'

Honor married Andrew, and Beauty married Nick, and we all lived happily ever after!
THE END
Thank you to Debi and everyone else who made this play possible, we all had a great time! I can't wait for the next play!
